Marking maths
Response work has obvious value in maths in terms of doing corrections – see question 5.
The GPQ sticker is a very useful way to start the next day’s lesson. Can the children still do the work they could do the day before.
Asking to children to explain mathematical thinking and understanding is another key strategy for maths response work.
